My Monetary

Growing up in a poor neighborhood, I learned to work hard and learned to save for the future. I was able to send my self to college and earned my degree in Information Technology. It was no school like the kind of Harvard and other distinguished colleges but it opened a lot of opportunities for me. Just a few months after graduation I landed on a job as data encoder in a small telecommunications company and later earned a slot a programmer which offer a higher pay and a comfortable workplace. As the company expanded it demanded more manpower,through the years of experience and excellent work ethics I got promoted as Senior Programmer and has had better life since then.

Just three weeks after coming out from the hospital where stayed for two weeks due to a near carjack arrest. Luckily it turned into just a mild stroke although my recovery was slow I was very thankful that I made it through. Though I was happy making it alive, I was worried it may happen again and I started thinking about my wife and my two young children. My hospital expenses was minimal with the help of the company but much of my savings were pulled since I was not able to work for a more than a month now and it will be three weeks of waiting before I will be back at work again.

I have so much to think, a lo of things going inside my mind. Only later that i decided to inquire about life insurance policy on how it may be able to help my family in case something bad happens to me. I made my research on the internet, entering the life insurance policy as a keyword and viewed more than ten results that are relevant to what I am interested in. I made a list to be able to compare the different policies later on. When I did my comparison, I crossed out those that in my opinion may become a liability and stuck with those that have a proven track record and recognized insurance companies. There are few that offers free walk through to their system and is available online and comes with video presentation. I even made research about the company to investigate what their clients were saying about them if its really worth it all to trust them. I viewed a few and made my choice from there, a well know insurance company with strong financial background and has had numerous awards for being the top provider and in existence for almost two decades. I called up the insurance company and inquired if they have offices within the city so that I could come for an interview. I was told that they have but an agent could cometo make the interviewand I won't have to bother coming into their office.

When the young well dressed insurance agent arrived, I gladly welcomed her into my home. I sit their with my wife as we listen to her and tells us all about life insurance policy. I sure made my research but most of the things she told us never entered my mind whenI did my research. It was almost out of my grasp, the things she said for almost half an hour made me realize that if I think I read a book about insurance policy I was only able to read the introduction, a bit of it. We were told of the options of what policy should we choose basing with from what she explained, from the answers she asked us about and things that is best for my family in case my worst fear happens. After a moment of discussion with my wife i decided do to apply for it. Payment will every two months and I will be fully paid after 5 years. Regardless of the circumstances, my family would get something to ease the burden when things really goes wrong.

Three years had passed and I am still healthy and able to work full time. Having to avail of the life insurance policy gave me lesser worries and enjoyed my life more since then. Saving for the future works but for me savings can be emptied in a very short time and insurances helps a lot if future is in your mind.
